New stuff for eBay

Here is some exciting news for sellers:

  • Get increased visibility, lower fees for offering the holiday services buyers want most—free shipping, fast shipping, one-day handling, and a great return policy.  You now get a boost in Best Match—eBay’s default sort order—for each of these services you offer.  From Thanksgiving Day through December 25, you’ll get 20% off your Final Value Fees for all your transactions with a free expedited shipping service (such as USPS Priority Mail) with 1-day handling. If you’re an eBay Top-rated seller, that’s an extra 20% off on top of the discount you already get!
  • Use all 80 characters in your title to include more keywords and descriptors. You now have 25 EXTRA characters in your title to draw more buyers to your listings! Read tips on how to best use all 80 characters, then revise your titles for maximum visibility.
  • Get found on Google, Yahoo! and via other off-eBay searches. By including unique product identifiers like UPCs, EANs, and  ISBNs in your listings, your items can be more easily found by buyers using eBay search, off-eBay search, and mobile apps. Be sure to include these identifiers in the designated field whenever you list. Learn more.
  • Offer a generous return policy. During the holidays, allow enough time for gift recipients to sort through their holiday goodies and return items to you—at least 14 days, or ideally 30 days after Christmas.  Remember…great return policies give your listings an added boost in Best Match
  • Ship using eBay Labels—now with bulk label printing! Print up to 50 USPS shipping labels at one time, prepare multiple shipments and more. It’s built into the eBay selling process, so paying for postage, adding insurance and printing shipping labels is a breeze, and USPS® tracking numbers are automatically uploaded to My eBay and emailed out to buyers. Check it out.
  • Sell for a cause, get promoted in search. Support your choice of nonprofits helping children and families through the eBay Giving Works Holiday campaign. The minimum donation per listing to participate is just $1 or 10% of the selling price, whichever is greater. You’ll get a tax-deductible receipt and pro-rated fee credits equal to the percentage of the final selling price that you chose to donate. These listings will also be promoted in search results!
